Glossary

This glossary is available to give you general information about new words and concepts and to assist with your understanding of much of the content you find here,  Most have been recently coined or created (some by the O.B.) based on need, as totally new situations and circumstances have come about that are associated with the challenges and rewards of living as a boomer in the 21st century. Many sources have been used to compile this list, and there may be more than one "definition" for a word/term.  Additional words will be added regularly,

Aholenotha’ 

(a port manteau) = A + whole + nother;

A very different way of looking at things, other than the usual or traditional perspective; not the status
quo

Boomerism

1) familiar cliches or 'old sayings' that are tweaked in a way to create a new saying with a different meaning that refers specifically to Boomers

2) Basically words for Boomers to live by, now

Boomerologist

1) One who studies baby boomers, people born between 1946-64
2) Any person that knows at least 5 boomer facts without thinking twice

Co’ Liv’n ™

(a port manteau) Co/prefix + Live + ing/suffix

The decision to Live the rest of your life, in some form or fashion, in a CO-llective, CO-operative,
CO-llaborative way on purpose starting Now …

Edutainment

(a port manteau) educate + entertainment

1) educational material that is also entertaining, usu. refers to children  (from your.dictionary.com}

2) sharing relevant info in an entertaining & humorous way so people won't fall asleep, always refers to Boomers (per the O.B.)

Boomerology

1) The in-depth study of the baby boomer generations’ habits, trends and influences on society
past, present & future
2) The continued observation of boomers as we create a “new history” i.e. old is suddenly cool,
because the cool people are suddenly getting older
